Air transport is the main way to come to the Azores. This mean of transport is provided by Sata International, Tap Air Portugal and the Lowcost companies Easyjet and Ryanair, with regular flights from the Portuguese mainland and Madeira, as well as other international destinations on charter flights
To travel between the triangle islands there are boat connections provided by Atlânticoline, with daily routes between the islands of San Jorge, Pico and Faial.
